“Nobody Kisses Anymore” is a romantic lament, not for the loss of one particular person but rather for the patience and languor of times gone by. Taking time to linger in a kiss, talk on the phone, write a letter, or lie lazily on the floor listening to music - these sound like fictions in the hyper connected immediacy of the “trending” world. Or maybe it’s just a function of getting older. Lauren Henderson delivers a sultry vocal and Jake Sherman’s harmonica solo cries the blues.
